    These sweet cottage cheese toast ideas are quick, easy, and ready in just 5 minutes. Perfect for a high-protein breakfast or snack. Whether you’re alternating flavors throughout the week or sharing a variety.

    Whenever I crave a sweet, high-protein breakfast, I tend to lean into these toasts that my husband and kids devour.

    I alternate them with the savoury cottage cheese toasts, or serve them whenever I have guests over for breakfast, and they are always impressed.

    Why I love this recipe

    Sweet but still healthy: Thanks to the fruits and honey to naturally sweeten the toasts. This toast satisfies your sweet tooth without the crash that comes with refined sugar.

    High in protein: The cottage cheese adds a solid boost of protein, making this toast satiating and energizing, which is perfect for busy mornings or afternoon slumps.

    Key ingredients

    Toast: Use sourdough, rye bread, or whole wheat bread. For a high-protein bread, you can use my cottage cheese flat bread.

    Toppings: cottage cheese, berries, peanut butter, kiwi, bananas, walnuts, peach, honey.

    How to make cottage cheese toast

    The base recipe is the same, and you can choose whatever sweet toppings you like and that are available.

    Cottage cheese peanut butter toast

    Cottage cheese and peanut butter toast garnished with a drizzle of and sliced of kiwi.

    Toast a slice of bread until golden and crisp (prevents soggy toast).

    Top with a thick layer of cottage cheese ( around 2 tablespoons).

    Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter over the warm toast.

    Arrange sliced kiwi with the skin on for added fiber

    Optional: drizzle honey or sprinkle chia seeds for extra sweetness and texture.
