    This cottage cheese savory breakfast toast is a quick 5-minute assortment of versatile toasts that are high in protein. Great for sharing or trying one each morning.

    Four savoury cottage cheese toast, one with avocadoes and cherry tomatoes, cucumber and tomatoes, one with smoked salmon and red onions, spinach and egg.

    I love making these toasts and sharing them with my husband and kids. They like variety, and I always have to be creative.

    Another TikTok viral cottage cheese recipe that delivers sustained energy as a high-protein breakfast.

    Quick and easy: You can prep the toppings whilst waiting for the toast to toast, no time wasted.

    High in protein: Thanks to the cottage cheese, it boosts the protein content significantly.

    Toast: You can use sourdough or any high-protein toast. Or even use this high-protein flat bread as a base.

    Toppings: cottage cheese, avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, smoked salmon, red onion, dill, spinach, and eggs.

    Cottage cheese avocado toast

    Toast with cotatge cheese and avocado garnished with halved cherry toamtoes and chilli flakes.
    • Toast your bread to your desired crispness.
    • Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese over the warm toast.
    • Top with sliced or mashed avocado.
    • Add halved cherry tomatoes.
    • Finish with a sprinkle of chili flakes for a little heat.

    • Toast your bread until golden and crisp.

    Can I prep this ahead of time?

    This meal prep cottage cheese toast will work if you prep the toppings beforehand, such as washing the vegetables, boiling the eggs, cooking the spinach ...etc. I would not recommend laying the topping before as it will cause soggy toast.

    Can I blend the cottage cheese for this recipe?

    You can choose to use whipped cottage cheese if you don't like the texture of the curds.
